Amorolfine is an antifungal . Amorolfine is used for topical fungal infection especially in the treatment of fungal infections of nail.

Side effeects of Amorolfine include nail discoloration , loosing of nails and allergic sensation on skin like itching or burning.

Mechanism of Action

Amorolfine is a morpholine antifungal drug that inhibits D14 reductase and D7-D8 isomerase, which depletes ergosterol and causes ignosterol to accumulate in the fungal cytoplasmic cell membranes. Thus Amorolfine works by stopping fungi to reproduce and prevents its multiplication in colony.

Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
