Side Effects of Enzyl Capsule 28s

Some of the common side effects of Enzalutamide are : 

1. Gynecomastia (enlargement of breasts in male)
2. breast pain/tenderness
3. Feeling tired and weak
4. Diarrhea
5. Hot flashes,
6. Headache,
7. Sexual dysfunction or decreased sexual desire
8. Dry Skin
9. Hypertension
10. Memory Loss
11. Visual hallucination (rare side effect)
12. Neutropenia (decrease in number of neutrophils in the blood)

Drug Interactions

This medicine can interact various medicines so consult with your physician if you are already taking other medicines.Enzalutamide can also increase the rate of excretion of other medicines from the body , for example, sirolimus, voriconazole , quinine and tacrolimus .

Contraindications

Enzalutamide is contraindicated in women during pregnancy.

Mechanism of Action

Enzalutamide is an antiandrogens medicine. It stops the effect of natural male hormones ( like testosterone and dihydrotestosterone) on the growth of prostate cells.

Special Precautions

This medicine may lead to serious side effects like seizures and hypertension so inform your doctor if you have history of high blood pressure or seizures or epilepsy .
