Oseltamivir is used to:

1. Treat influenza in people who are 2 weeks of age and older.
2. Prevent influenza in people who are 6 months of age and older.
3. Prevent influenza in people who are at high risk of complications from the flu, such as young children, older adults, and people with chronic health conditions.
