Uses of Obstela 10mg Tablet 10s

Obeticholic acid is used in the treatment of biliary cirrhosis or biliary cholangitis . It may be used alone or in combintation with other mediciens for improving liver and biliary health.

Side Effects of Obstela 10mg Tablet 10s

Obeticholic acid may cause following side effects.

1. skin rashes
2. dizziness and fainting
3. joint pain
4. muscle pain
5. loss of appetite
6. constipation
7. sore throat
8. swelling in limbs
9. severe itching

Mechanism of Action

Obeticholic acid works by reducing the production of bile acid in the liver and also by accelrating the removal of bile content from the bile duct . Thereby reduces the load on liver and bile duct, also curbs the harmful effects of bile acid on liver.

Special Precautions

Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

How to Use

Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.
