Common side effects os Tofacitinib include : diarrhea headache stomach pain runny nose hives dry lips sore throat and difficulty swallowing high blood pressure skin rashes Serious side effects os Tofacitinib include : Infection Pulmonary embolis blood clots in stool
Contraindications
Avoid using this medicine when you are on immunosuppressant therapy.
Mechanism of Action
Tofacitinib works by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators and thereby helps in improving condition in arthritis and joint pain.
