Axitinib is used in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (a kind of cancer in kidney) .

Side Effects of Axzyb 1mg Tablet 60s

Side effects of axitinib include :

1. diarrhea or constipation
2. constant fatigue (feeling tired)
3. numbness and tingling sensation in fingers
4.  nausea and vomiting
5. muscle pain
6. stomach pain
7. ringing in the ears
8. joint pain
9. headache & dizziness
10. dry skin, rashes and itching
11. loss of appetite
12. loss of taste to certain food products
13. hemorrhoids
14. low immunity
15. hand-foot syndrome
16. fast heart beat
17. hair loss

Mechanism of Action

Axitinib prevents the formation of new blood vessels inside the tumor thereby prevents growth of tumors.
