Uses of Azadine 100 mg Injection
Azacitinde 100mg Injection is used in the treatment of blood cancer.
Side Effects of Azadine 100 mg Injection
Azacitidine common side effects include
1. Injection site reactions itching, pain, redness
2. Vomitting
3. Nausea
4. Fever
5.Constipation
6. Diarrhoea
Contraindications
Azacitidine should be avoided in lactating mothers as it is released in mother's milk and may lead to toxicity in baby.
Mechanism of Action
Azacitidine injection works by killing rapidly growing cancer cells in leukaemia. Azacitidine interrupts functioning of DNA and RNA of these cancer cells and thereby prevents their growth.
This kills the cancer cells and helps in normal maturation and growth of young blood cells in the bone marrow.
Special Precautions
Azacitidine hould be used with caution in patient s with renal and hepatic impairment .
How to Use
Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.
How to Store
Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
Safety Concerns
- Alcohol: Avoid during treatment.
- Breastfeeding: Not recommended.
- Pregnancy: Contraindicated.
- Liver/Kidney: Use with caution.
