Azilsartan is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.
Side Effects of Aztric 80 mg Tablet 10s
Common side effects of Azilsartan include :dizziness,
headache,
drowsiness,
nausea & vomiting,
diarrhea,
cough,
and
high potassium levels
Contraindications
Azilsartan must not be used with aliskiren, a renin inhibitor, in patients with diabetes as this increases the risk of serious adverse effects.
Mechanism of Action
Azilsartan belongs to the class ARBs (Angiotensin 2 Receptor Blocker). It acts on renin–angiotensin system and thereby helps in reducing high blood pressure.
Special Precautions
Azilsartan should be used after discussing doctor during pregnancy .
How to Use
Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.
How to Store
Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
