Bevacizumab is used in combination with other anti-cancer drugs in the treatment of various types of cancers like lung cancer, ovarian cancer , brain cancer and colon or rectal cancer .

High blood pressure
Sluggishness

Blindness .
Apart from these it may also lead to kidney problem , infusion site reaction, dry skin, back pain etc.

Contraindications

Bevacizumab is contraindicated in following conditions, consult your doctor if you experience any of them;
Decrease of Neutrophils in the Blood from Cancer Chemotherapy
High blood pressure
Heart attack OR angina
Chronic heart failure
Transient ischemic attack
Bleeding
Gastrointestinal fistula
Nephrotic syndrome
Recent operation
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding mother

Mechanism of Action

Bevacizumab is a anti-angiogenic drug. It demonstrates its anti-cancer action by blocking vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) protein. Thereby stops the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to cancerous cells.

Bevacizumab may cause infusion-related reactions, which can be life-threatening and require immediate medical attention.
