Uses of Briviact 75mg Tablet 14s
Brivaracetam is an anti-epileptic medicine (anticonvulsant). Brivaracetam is used to treat partial onset seizures in people with epilepsy.
Side Effects of Briviact 75mg Tablet 14s
Some of the common side effects of Brivaracetam include:
- dizziness, drowsiness;
- nausea, vomiting; or
- feeling tired
- irritability
- restlessness
- seeing double
- sensation of spinning
- sleepiness
- Shakiness and unsteady walk
- uncontrolled eye movements
Drug Interactions
Brivaracetam may interact with other medicines like clonazepam, lorazepam, pregabalin etc. Please consult your doctor if you are consuming these medicines or any other medicine.
Contraindications
Brivaracetam is contraindicated for use in patients with a hypersensitivity to brivaracetam or any of the inactive ingredients. Bronchospasm and angioedema have occurred in patients taking brivaracetam.
Special Precautions
- Brivaracetam may lead to dizziness, sleepiness and drowsiness , so avoid driving after taking this medicine.
- Abrupt discontinuation of brivaracetam therapy may lead to wtihdrawl symptoms and increased incidenses of seizures. So the dosage should be decreased gradually .
- Adjust the dosage of brivaracetam in patients with hepatic disease (liver disorders). Hepatic impairment increases brivaracetam exposure.
- Brivaracetam ahould be avoided in patients with end-stage renal disease.

Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.
How to Store
Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
Safety Concerns
- Alcohol: Avoid during treatment.
- Breastfeeding: Not recommended.
- Pregnancy: Contraindicated.
