Uses of Rebopag 25mg Tablet 7s

1. Eltrombopag is used in the treatment low platelet count due to chronic immune (idiopathic) thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) or chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.
2. Eltrombopag is also used to treat severe aplastic anemia.

Eltrombopag side effects include :

1. muslce and back pain
2. headache
3. weakness and tiredness
4. loss of appetite
5. sore throat and difficulty in swallowing
6. hair loss
7. skin rash

Mechanism of Action

Eltrombopag belongs to thrombopoietin receptor agonists class of drugs. It works by causing the cells in the bone marrow to produce more platelets.

Special Precautions

Eltrombopag should not be used to treat people who have low numbers of platelets due to conditions other than ITP, hepatitis C, or aplastic anemia.

How to Use

Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.
