Uses of Viropil Tablet 30s

Dolutegravir 50mg + Lamivudine 300mg + Tenofovir 300mg is a fixed-dose combination (FDC) antiretroviral medication used to treat HIV infection. It is a combination of three different drugs: dolutegravir, lamivudine, and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate.

Mechanism of Action

• Dolutegravir is an integrase inhibitor. It works by blocking the integrase enzyme, which is used by HIV to integrate its genetic material into the DNA of the host cell. This prevents HIV from replicating and spreading.
• Lamivudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI). It works by blocking the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which is used by HIV to make copies of its genetic material. This prevents HIV from replicating and spreading.
• Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI). It works by blocking the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which is used by HIV to make copies of its genetic material. This prevents HIV from replicating and spreading.
