Side Effects of Avanair 100 Tablet 4s

The most common side effects of Avanafil include

1. Headache and dizziness
2. Back pain
3. Flushing
4. Nasopharyngitis and nasal congestion
5. Visual disturbances
6. Hearing loss in rare cases

Drug Interactions

1. Avanafil may interact with a few other medicines especially nitrates, such as glyceryl trinitrate, which can result in their increased effect and can lead to severe hypotension.
2. Avanafil vasodilatory action may also have an additive effect with alcohol and antihypertensive drugs, particularly alpha blockers.

Contraindications

Avanafil is contraindicated in patients taking medicines such as itraconazole, fluoxeinte, clarithromycin, and ritonavir.

Mechanism of Action

Avanafil is responsible for releasing nitric oxide in the blood vessels which leads to vasodilation. This vasodilation causes an increase of blood flow in the penis, thereby leading to penile erection.

How to Use

Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
