Side Effects of Tiptengio 10mg/5mg Tablet 10s

Linagliptin and Empagliflozin side effects include throat inflammation , urinary tract infection , and in some cases upper respiratory tract infections.

Drug Interactions

Lipagliptin May Show Interact With Following Medicines There Should Be Discussed With Doctor Before Starting Therapy :
Deflazacort
Hydrocortisone
Methylprednisolone
Escitalopram Oxalate
Pancreatin
Propranolol
Paroxetine

Contraindications

Should be avoided in patients with kidney diseases mainly due to effect of Empagliflozin.

Mechanism of Action

Linagliptin and Empagliflozin , both the salts work in synergy to reduce high blood sugar level . Lipagliptin is a DDP-4 enzyme inhibitor and reduces blood glucose level by improving insulin sensitivity and also reducing glucose absorption in the intestine.
On the other hand Empagliflozin removes extra blood glucose from the body through urine .

Special Precautions

Should be used with caution in lactating mothers. If you are a nursing mother then consult your doctor.
