Uses of Dpfor 20 Tablet
Teneligliptin is used to help control blood sugar levels in patients affected by type 2 diabetes. Teneligliptin is a DDP-4 inhibitor .
Side Effects of Dpfor 20 Tablet
Side effects of Teneligliptin may include Nausea Eczema , Constipation , stomach ache , and occassionaly accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract . Consult your doctor if you are getting any side effects of Teneligliptin.
Mechanism of Action
Teneligliptin works by inhibiting the activity of a certain enzyme known as DPP-4. This enzyme is responsible for degrading incretins such as GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1), which are needed by the body to control blood sugar. Blocking the action of DPP4 leads to an increase in GLP-1 levels. GLP-1 helps to increase the release of insulin, which in turn leads to lower blood glucose levels, thereby making this medicine effective at controlling type 2 diabetes.

It is possible that hypoglycemia may occur. Ask your physician about the proper procedure in case this happens.

Take orally with food and water, as directed by your physician.
